Hey Petaverse fam! We are excited to officially announce the launch of MetaPaws NFT!

What to Expect

The presale for MetaPaws whitelist members will take place on June 14th at 1pm EST. For this first drop, there will be only 100 MetaPasses available for mint at a price of $350 each or 0.2 WETH. If you didn’t make it onto the whitelist, no worries, you can still apply for a spot here. After June 10th we will no longer be accepting whitelist applications, so make sure to apply soon!

The presale will conclude on June 15th at 1pm EST, and the public sale will begin. If you didn’t make it onto the whitelist, you will have an opportunity to claim any remaining MetaPasses during the public sale. Note: MetaPasses are first come first serve. You are not guaranteed a MetaPass during the public sale!

At the time of launch, the Petaverse.com home page will update to display a “Create My Custom 3D Pet” button. Clicking this button will begin the registration process. You will be asked to verify your crypto wallet, input some basic information about your furry friend, and submit payment for a MetaPass.

What is a MetaPass?

Your MetaPass will serve as your ticket to redeem your MetaPaw. Once your payment is processed, a MetaPass NFT will be deposited into your cryptocurrency wallet. When your MetaPaw is ready to play, your custom digital companion will take the place of your MetaPass.

How to Prepare

You will need a MetaMask wallet to receive your MetaPass and hold your MetaPaw. Learn how to install MetaMask here.

If you are basing your MetaPaw on a real-life pet, be ready to submit photos of your furry friend. The guide below can be used as a reference when taking photos of your pet.

If you don’t have a real-life pet, you will still have the option to choose from a wide selection of breeds. These designs are predetermined, so no need to sneak photos of your friend’s pet 😉

Paying for your MetaPaw

Credit or Debit: If you are planning to pay for your MetaPass using a credit or debit card, you will be directed to a page to input your payment information during registration.

Crypto: If you’d prefer to pay for your MetaPass using cryptocurrency, you will need to deposit ETH into your MetaMask wallet and bridge to Polygon. Learn how to bridge here. You will also need a small amount of MATIC to cover gas (transaction) fees. You can claim some free MATIC here 👀
